L.A. Minerals Wet/Dry Baked Eyeshadow Palette Review and Giveaway
I love all different kinds of cosmetics. Mineral makeup is one of my favorite because of the way it looks when applied. I find it glides on very easy and blends well. I like the versatility of being able to mix different colors together to create multiple looks. While browsing the internet I came across L.A. Minerals and was drawn to their Mineral makeup palette. This palette is none like I have ever seen before. This palette is huge! Each one of these colors is about the size of a silver dollar. One baked eyeshadow in the store averages around $6.00 for just one. You can get this 14 shade eyeshadow palette for $17.00 on sale.
This is a 14 shade eyeshadow palette that one can use wet or dry. You can mix up the style and colors by using the bold tones and the darker tones. Some of the shades give a shimmery glow, while the others give a softer appearance. In addition, the four colors in the middle can be used as blush or eyeshadow. I took as many pictures as I could to show you some of these beautiful colors right before my camera battery died.
L.A. Minerals strives to give you great cosmetics at an affordable price. Drug store brand cosmetics are over priced and have a lot of chemicals in them while L.A Minerals does not. You will find that L.A. Minerals cosmetics are safe and non-irritating to the skin. Additionally, it is long lasting and pigmented very well.
I love to experiment with a variety of colors. My favorite colors are bright and bold colors so when I received this palette I was beyond thrilled as it had a lot of bold colors to satisfy my taste.
With this look I used NYX jumbo eye pencil in purple for the eyeliner, and then I used the pink in the middle of the palette over my lid. I then applied the pink with white swirl in my crease. Over the brow area I applied the orange that is below the pink in the middle of the palette
If you look at the palette, starting from the white and go counter clockwise, I used the 2nd from the white which is a gold black color. I used the gold black over my lid and crease. As you can see the black is blended into the gold. I then used the color one down from this color which looks like copper with gold tones and applied it on the brow bone area. One thing for certain when playing with makeup is have fun and do not be shy about it. These colors are bold, beautiful, and fun!! There are some darker colors in this palette for those that like darker subtle tones.
